Error 550 Mailbox Unavailable - emails still received

For the past week, when I try to
send email from my Yahoo account, it only sends out the emails sporadically.
Most of the time, they are not sent and I receive the error message: "550
Request failed; Mailbox unavailable'"
I haven't changed anything at all
in, well, forever. But, just to ensure nothing had changed on the Yahoo side, I
double-checked all of my settings. Change
font size in yahoo mail they is correct and match the settings Yahoo has
supplied:
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server
- Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Port - 465 or 587
- Requires SSL - Yes
- Requires TLS - Yes (if available)
- Requires authentication - Yes
Your login info
- Email address - Your full email address (**Username Protected**@domain.com.)
- Password - Your account's password.
- Requires authentication - Yes
Yet the issue persists. Every few
hours, the emails might actually go out, but there doesn't appear to be any
rhyme or reason as to why they eventually get sent. It is not an issue with
Outlook -- this issue has been widely reported across multiple platforms and
devices. So, it's definitely an issue on Yahoo's end and I'd appreciate a
straight-forward answer rather than the boiler-plate answer from moderators
that suggest that the issue is on my end.
